Bob & Roberta Smith, pseudonym of Patrick Brill, is a British contemporary artist, writer, author, musician, art education advocate and keynote speaker. He is known for his brightly coloured activist slogans, painted on banners and discarded boards of wood. Usually humorous, the slogans act as musings on art, politics and popular culture.

This special edition was created for INTERCOURSE ICA, a Live Edition event at the ICA in 2011. Created and signed live by the artist, Smith realised ten unique limited edition collages onto board of variable size.

Bob & Roberta Smith (born 1963 in Reading, UK) lives and works in London, UK. Recent exhibitions include: Art Amnesty, MoMA PS1, Long Island City, NY (2014/15), Altermodern, Tate Triennial exhibition, Tate Britain, London (2009), Fourth Plinth, The National Gallery, London (2008), Peace Camp, The Brick Lane Gallery, London (2007), The Beautiful Poetry of Bob and Roberta Smith, Hales Gallery, London (2004/5).
